Business Owner, Sales and Design Manager

Marcus is a product of Heisig Constructions tradition for long-standing, in-house trained professionals. Joining the business back in the 1990’s, Marcus further developed the sales, design and project management divisions of the business. Learning the intricacies of the building and design industries from company founders, George and Carol, Marcus has gained the respect of industry peers and clientele alike. His construction and design knowledge compliment those of best friend and business partner, Steve Heisig. His success in selling and designing hundreds of individual homes for the company, has seen his designs assist in the multi-award winning profile Heisig Constructions holds today. It was with great pride upon retiring that George and Carol Heisig, offered Marcus part ownership of the business. Marcus’s respect for the Heisig family and the knowledge they have instilled in him, provides endless benefits to every Heisig client, who place their trust in the business to build their family home.

With Cheri by his side, the couple and their family understand the responsibilities of business, although ensure that family time is very precious. Their children, Bodhi and Pixie, have been born into and grown up many Heisig Homes and share their parents passion for the love of new homes. Marcus being locally born and bred, shares the love of the ocean not only with Cheri, but also his parents, Shawn and Yolanda Arber and brothers, Damian and Myles. His father, Shawn, is renowned throughout the national boating industry as one of Australia’s leading Multi-hull Boat Builders and Designers. It seems second nature that Marcus’ passion for design would stem from such a background. The Arber’s and the Heisig’s are often seen together enjoying family time on the water or the beach.

Myles Arber started his career as a Heisig apprentice then progressed to a carpentry subcontractor.   He not only honed his carpentry skills during this time, he also developed as a talented onsite foreman on a number of bespoke Heisig Custom Homes.  It was in this valuable time onsite he became renowned for his keen eye for detail and deft management skills, earning the loyalty of his fellow work mates.  Myles has since taken over the reins of a supervisory role from our long standing statesman and supervisor Mark Leo when he retired from a 25 year tenure with us.  Nearly 10 years ago Myles refined his skills in the transition to supervisor under Marks’ guidance.  Today, Myles is a true leader and represents everything Heisig Constructions stands for – loyalty – honesty – respect – communication and commitment to the highest standards.  Now partnered with long term friend and work mate of many years Aaron Longmuir, the boys continue to uphold the reputation the Heisig Team and its successors are renowned for.

He, wife Shana and their beautiful children, Orlo and Alaia, love the simple things in life and enjoy nothing more than spending time together as a family.  With a love for restoration – both cars and homes – his pride in the fruits of his creativity is an intrinsic part of Myles’ nature.  We’ve enjoyed watching Myles grow within the Heisig brand and are grateful to see him flourish as a true family man.

Aaron’s reputation as a high quality, hardworking tradesman proceeds him.  He commenced his carpentry career on Heisig Projects as an eager apprentice in the early 2000’s, soon being noticed for his speed and accuracy while gaining the respect onsite from all who had the pleasure to work alongside him.  Aaron then successfully transitioned into his own carpentry business, continuing to contract for the Heisig Team, whilst gaining additional experience as a business owner in his own right.  After venturing north to help his family on a business venture, Aaron returned to the Heisig Team initially working alongside his good friend and long-time work mate Myles Arber.   Today, after all those years of building some of most bespoke homes Heisig Constructions have ever delivered, the powerhouse duo of Aaron and Myles lead the supervision of your Heisig Home.  Aaron’s passion for custom housing and unmatched work ethic is a true testament to his growth within our brand.  We are forever grateful for the commitment of quality team players like Aaron.

Aaron and his wife Vanessa reside in Victoria Point with their two growing boys, Blake and Easton.  They relish family time and love living in the Redlands, enjoying all the area has to offer.
