Heisig Apprenticeships and Job Opportunities
At Heisig Constructions, investing in the future of the business has been integral to the success of the business to date. A builder is as good as his trades and training our trades from apprentices to qualified tradespeople, helps instil our expectations into their performance. Our business is supported by dedicated staff and loyal trades. If you feel you have something to offer our organisation, please contact us.
Heisig Apprentices currently include Myles Arber and Rhys Leo. These guys are actively learning the carpentry trade on Heisig building sites under the watchful eye of Heisig Supervisor, Mark Leo and Builder Steve Heisig. As a Heisig Apprentice, they are taught the greater scope of being a builder and running a business. Apart from the intensive hands on carpentry experience, our apprentices are exposed to many other facets of the organisation including.
· Sales and building design including the annual HIA Home Show where the apprentices get to mix with potential Heisig Customers, answering questions and learning about customer service and communication!
· Ordering and Quantity surveying
· Office administration
· Quality control systems from office paperwork to Quality Assurance checklists managed by the supervisor
· Site preparation and building set out
· Concreting including foundation and slab preparation
· Client interaction at scheduled site meetings
· Heisig Pre-paint system and implementation
· Handover inspections and delivering a finished home to the Heisig Standard
Becoming a Heisig Trade is not easy. Our team has been built around long term relationships and likeminded professionals. To have earned an impeccable reputation in the building industry, Heisig Constructions management acknowledge this is greatly due to the hard work and dedication of our trades and staff. It is a team effort.
