From the establishment of Heisig Constructions in 1970, the business has never subscribed to the concept of “standard plans”. With this approach, our commitment to creating “one-off homes” for our individual clients ensures innovation, sustainability and client satisfaction every time. Our first design meeting is traditionally held on site or in our unique Sales Lounge, after viewing the proposed site. Our initial site visit is mandatory! To ensure the best advice is offered prior to design compilation, a physical inspection of the land allows us all ... builder, designer and client, to be focusing on the same outcome.

Our aim is to design a home that is a reflection of the family who will occupy it. Our design service is thorough, addressing site conditions and assets of the land which may include views, aspect (solar and breeze paths) and natural topography – all of which are better addressed once an image of the project is created.

A home design must meet each individual client’s needs and budget. Time is spent with each client, ensuring they are satisfied with their home’s layout prior to commencing construction. To ensure this, our clients benefit from 3D computer imaging of their homes, presented on a Plasma screen TV in the comfort of our Sales Lounge. Our customers are shown the valued principles we have integrated to deliver the best result – a smart design, delivered on time, individually customised to their expectations and budget requirements.

Traditionally from the first inspection of the site to the initial concept design presentation, a turnaround of less than 10 business days is expected – dependant on the scope of work. Being a committed HIA Greensmart Builder, we are determined to dispel the general ideal that energy efficient housing is difficult, time consuming or expensive. We believe energy efficient principles are a must for everyone building a new home, and can be easily incorporated into individual home requirements, building covenant restrictions and budgets.

The involvement of business owners Steve Heisig and Marcus Arber, establishes a relationship based on trust and confidence throughout the design and construction processes. Heisig Constructions' commitment to professionalism is demonstrated through their leadership of the business. Marcus personally oversees the initial phases including site selection, survey and hydraulics, subdivision services, town planning, design and project management..

Steve heads up the construction team, personally inspecting every Heisig home from the ground up. Steve’s role also includes estimating and quantity surveying. His reputation within the building industry has been earned through a tireless commitment to market leading quality control measures. Site Supervisor, Mark Leo manages each site and ensures all work meets the high quality standards Heisig is proud of.
