Architectural Draftsman
Scott O’Leary comes from a family back ground of builders and designers. Working initially with his parents, Jim and Sue O’Leary in the family design and planning business, Scott assisted hundreds of local families planning their homes and navigating the many town planning restrictions in housing today. Around the year 2000, Heisig Constructions and The O’Leary’s became acquainted as more local families went looking for a quality builder to complete the experienced design service the O’Leary’s were providing. Scott works alongside wife Mel who is also a talented designer mainly specialising in commercial projects/applications. Scott’s role at Heisig Constructions encompasses small lot developments, planning applications and detailed construction working drawings. Scott’s drafting ability, design knowledge and construction experience, reinforces the strict quality control systems that the Heisig Team love to see implemented. His eye for detail and commitment to delivering the best working drawings in the business helps the Heisig Trades translate the creative ideas on paper into reality in sticks and bricks. He is part of the award winning Heisig Team, helping you achieve a streamlined planning process and construction journey. Scott lives in a small lot home at Camp Hill with wife Mel and pup Ollie. Scott’s love for Cricket, the outdoors and competitive dedication has seen him succeed at the State level of Cricket, having previously been a team member of the Queensland Bulls. Scott is rumoured to have a mean right hand bat swing! Scott and Mel love to travel and enjoy skiing trips when they are able to drag themselves away from work.
